Speaking Event Recap: Health Canada

Last week, I presented my virtual keynote "Beyond What You See: Fostering an Inclusive Workplace Culture" for over 150 employees at Health Canada, as part of their recognition for International Day of Persons with Disabilities on Dec 3.

The first comment on the third slide, linked here, really stuck out to and touched me — that my take on living with an invisible disability made them feel heard. 🥹

Before we feel safe to start sharing our own experiences, it helps so much to feel seen in other people sharing theirs. That's one of the steps I talk about in my keynotes that helped me, so I'm so happy to see it as a ripple now! 🎉
